3 Day – 2 Night

Day 1

– In the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel or the airport. We will start the day with a brief introduction to our beautiful island and its main attractions before heading to the tourist dock “Bellavista Nanay.” On the way, we will stop at the confluence of the Amazon and Nanay rivers. Here, you can see how the two rivers do not mix completely, creating a visual effect similar to “coffee with milk.”

Next, we will begin our journey to the lodge, located an hour downstream on the mighty Amazon River, one of the 7 natural wonders of the world. You will travel in comfortable and safe boats, enjoying views of the various villages along the river. Upon arrival at the lodge, we will welcome you with a refreshing natural drink from the Amazon.

– We will assign you to your private cabin, which includes its own bathroom, and give you a tour of the facilities. Then, you will enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, we will cross the Amazon River to visit the monkey rescue center and the combined animal rescue center. On our return to the lodge, you can enjoy a stunning sunset.

– After dinner, we will embark on a night excursion, either on foot or by boat, to observe caimans and listen to the sounds of the jungle at night. This experience will allow you to connect with nature and appreciate the wildlife in its natural habitat.

Day 2

– At 5:30 am, we will set out for a walk through the village of Sinchicuy to listen to the birds singing and watch the sunrise. Afterward, we will enjoy a delicious breakfast.

– Next, we will embark on a boat and navigate the Amazon River to visit the native Yaguas tribes. Here, you can observe their customs, dances, and demonstrations of their primitive weapons, such as the pucuna or blowgun.

– We will return to the lodge for lunch, and in the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to swim in the majestic Amazon River. Afterward, we will head back to the lodge for dinner. If you wish, you can join an optional night walk to explore the jungle further. We will spend the night at the lodge.

Day 3

– We will begin the day with a delicious breakfast. Following that, we will engage in fishing for piranhas and other types of fish in the river. Throughout the morning, we will also have the chance to observe gray and pink dolphins in their natural habitat.

– Upon finishing our fishing trip, we will return to the lodge for lunch. Finally, we will head back to the city of Iquitos and transfer you to your hotel.
